There are some events that I really look forward to and this coming Sunday is one of them!! Funtastic Faces will be face painting at the Legs 4 Legacy Family Walk at Whitfords Nodes Park (aka Pinaroo Point,Hillarys WA) from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on Sunday the 4th of September.
Even though it is Father's Day, I know my husband won't mind me working when it is for such a great cause. In fact, he is planning to do the 5km walk with our 3 girls, which ( I think) is rather brave of him considering our youngest is not yet walking. The route has been designed with families in mind and is fully accessible to people using prams and wheelchairs. This event is an awareness-raiser and there are several activities planned. Legacy in WA are hoping for hundreds of walkers to participate in this new charity walk
Legacy is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1923 to look after the families of deceased military veterans. Its work continues today with the widows and children of those killed on active service in Iraq, Afghanistan and
elsewhere, including training, humanitarian and peacekeeping missions. For more information about Legacy in WA please follow this link.
Help make a difference to the families of WA’s deceased military veterans by taking part in Legs 4 Legacy – a new fun new event for all the family!!
Hope to see you there!
